The Advanced Open Water Diver course:
 
This course will help you increase your confidence and build your scuba skills so you can become more comfortable in the water. This is a great way to get more dives under your belt while continuing to learn under the supervision of your Instructor. This course builds on what you've learned and develops new capabilities by introducing you to new activities and new ways to have fun scuba diving.

Prerequisites
 
To take this course: Divers must be a minimum of 10 years of age, in good health and must be previously certified as a NAUI Scuba Diver or equivalent. 

The Scuba Gear You Use
 
You use all the basic scuba gear including your underwater compass. Depending on which three adventure dives you pick, you may also be introduced to underwater photography equipment, a dive light, lift bags, a dive flag/float or other specialty gear.

Course tuition includes rental of all other required scuba equipment including buoyancy compensator device (BCD), weights, tanks, and computer. In the Advanced Diver Water course, you learn to use basic scuba gear including a dive computer, and standard accessories. The equipment you wear will be chosen by a FREEDOM SCUBA Representative to ensure your comfort throughout the course.
 
What you will have to have:
 
Students must own or purchase a scuba-grade mask, snorkel, fins, wetsuite and botties.  All the above items will also work great for snorkeling.
